We are happy that you’re interested in our trips!
Being the owners of Northwest Rafting has given us wonderful opportunities to explore the world’s best whitewater. It has also made us realize how much we love the Northwest.
Zach Collier manages the day to day operations of Northwest and has spent most of his life exploring and guiding rivers of the American West and a few favorite international destinations. He has worked on over 20 different rivers in California, Oregon, Washington Idaho, Texas, Costa Rica, Chile, Nepal and Bhutan for 10 different river companies and learned valuable lessons from each amazing excursion. He loves rivers and he loves guiding. His main goal is to share his passion for rafting with as many people as possible.
Northwest Rafting Company was started with Dick Linford and Joe Daly, who each bring over 40 years of river outfitting experience. While Zach brings the youthful enthusiasm, they add the sage wisdom. Together, we know what it takes to run a fun, professional trip for you, your family, and friends.
We have a crew of wonderful guides who are interesting people that we know you will enjoy. Beyond that, we provide continual training and have high expectations that are well beyond the industry standard. The vast majority of our guides have Wilderness First Responder and Whitewater Rescue training that is renewed every 2-3 years.
Our favorite river trip is Southern Oregon’s Rogue River for it’s remarkable beauty and because it can be enjoyed by young or old, experienced or first time river runners. We also run trips to some of our favorite destinations in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Bhutan, Nepal, and Chile.
Our top priority is running phenomenal river trips so that each guest experiences the magic of these natural environments. We want you to share a memorable adventure with your families and friends while minimizing your footprint on the planet. Whether you are an experienced outdoor enthusiast or this is your first camping trip, our guides will cater to your needs by providing safe navigation, local and organic meals as well as quality camping and rafting gear.
