Rafting Trips Near Hood River, Oregon
Our main office is in downtown Hood River and we spend the winter rafting and kayaking the many rivers of the Columbia Gorge. When the weather warms up in the spring and summer months we love to share these rivers with others.
We specialize in small group trips and we’ll pick the right rafting trip to meet your group’s needs. Check out our menu of rivers below to and then give us a call to put together a trip for your group.
The Hood River
Difficulty: Class III
The Hood River makes a great full or half day trip for paddlers of all abilities and ages. It has plenty of Class II rapids with a few Class IIIs thrown in to make it exciting! You may even get a glimpse of Mount Hood while you’re on the river. Our trip ends in town just a few blocks from wine tasting and microbreweries.
West Fork of the Hood River
Difficulty: Class IV+
The West Fork is perhaps the best rafting trip in the Columbia Gorge. It flows through two narrow basalt canyons full of steep, challenging rapids. The tricky part with the West Fork is catching it when the flows are in the optimal range. We only run the West Fork a handful of times each year.
