Northwest Rafting Company is excited to have representatives from Deschutes Brewery join us on the Rogue River for another edition of Brews with Views!
Deschutes Brewery is named for the wild and scenic river of the same name located in Bend, Oregon. Their first brew pub opened in 1988 and since then, they’ve become the name in Oregon for producing famed craft beers like Mirror Pond Pale Ale and Black Butte Porter. Using whole flower hops and superior ingredients, Deschutes maintains exceptional quality with their old favorites and innovative libations alike.
This trip will feature the beers that made Deschutes a household name as well as some new favorites like their Twilight Summer Ale, Hop in the Dark and the limited edition Black Butte XXIII. A brewer from Deschutes will accompany the trip to offer tastings each evening in your campsite turned brew pub and describe the process for creating superior craft ales. NWRC’s guides will prepare scrumptious feasts to complement the beers.
The trip will cover 38 miles of the wild and scenic Rogue River located in southern Oregon. You’ll spend 4 days rafting this iconic river known for its warm water, bountiful wildlife and scenic, green canyon. After arriving in camp each afternoon the beer tasting will begin, leaving ample time to relax along the river with a cold brew in hand while you enjoy the sweeping views of the Rogue River.
Space is limited to 20 participants and with such great beer on board, we expect it to fill quicker than a pint glass. Call today for more information or to reserve your space!
