Are you driving a car to Stanley for your Middle Fork of the Salmon trip? You’ll want to make sure and book a car shuttle. That way, it is in the town of Salmon waiting for you at the end of the trip. We recommend booking with River Shuttles. They will pick up your car from our meeting spot in Stanley and drop it off in the parking lot of the Stagecoach Inn in Salmon.
River Shuttles asks that you book your shuttle well in advance, so they have time to schedule their drivers. If you wait until the last minute, there is no guarantee they will have availability to shuttle your car, and there are few other options in town.

We recommend having River Shuttles leave your keys at the front desk of the Stagecoach Inn. Our trip ends with a 2-hour bus ride from the river that takes us back into Salmon, which ends in the Stagecoach parking lot. You don’t have to be staying at the Stagecoach to have your keys stored there. If you go this route, enter the specific key instruction box above to “Leave keys at the front desk of the Stagecoach Inn.”
That said, you can have them leave your keys wherever suits you.
Once your form is submitted, you’ll get a confirmation email with a PDF of your online registration. You can print that out and bring it to Stanley, or fill out a new form if you forget. Your head guide will help walk you through where to park your car and what to do with your keys at the pre-trip meeting.
