Days 1 to 7 – Drive to Bumthang
Arrive in Paro and drive to Bumthang as part of our 9 day Rivers & Dzongs of Bhutan Itinerary.

Day 8 – Drive to Trogon Villa
We enjoy Jakar in the morning and say goodbye to our friends who are not continuing East. It’s a 7 hour drive to Trogon Villa, a lodge above the Kuri Chhu.

Day 9 – Drive to Kenghar, Hike to Put-in
In the morning we drive 5 hours to Kenghar Village where we begin and hour hike down to the Drangme Chhu River where we spend the night.

Days 10 to 12 – River Trip on Drangme Chhu
We spend 3 days and 2 nights rafting the Drangme Chhu to the town of Panbang.

Day 12 – Finish River Trip, Visit Panbang
We finish our rafting trip around noon and stay in the town of Panbang at an eco-lodge.

Day 13 – Drive to Enducholing
Drive 6-7 hours up the Mangde Chhu to Enducholing. Here we enjoy traditional Bhutanese dancing.

Day 14 – Drive Enducholing to Thimphu
Today we have a long drive (7-8 hours) back to Thimphu.

Day 15 – Drive from Thimphu to Paro, Hike Tiger’s Nest
Drive back to Paro and hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Day 16 – Fly from Paro to Bangkok
On the last day we fly from Paro to Bangkok. Spend a few days in Bangkok, or head directly home the following day. You are responsible for lodging and meals in Bangkok.
The itinerary may vary depending on local festivals, water flow, roads and/or river access. We may substitute a different activity or adjust the schedule to provide you the best possible trip
