Join us for our annual adventure with our friends at American Whitewater on the famous Rogue River.
“American Whitewater’s mission is to protect and restore America’s whitewater rivers and to enhance opportunities to enjoy them safely. The organization is the primary advocate for the preservation and protection of whitewater rivers throughout the United States, and connects the interests of human-powered recreational river users with ecological and science-based data to achieve the goals within its mission.”
Days on the river will include the opportunity to navigate inflatable kayaks, join a team of paddlers on a paddle boat, or be a princess in a gear boat and chat with one of the many river guides. There will be numerous stops along the way, including excellent lunches, rock-jumping, and side hikes up creeks. Once at camp, there will be lots of time to relax by the river, swim, or go for a hike. In the evenings the crew from American Whitewater will share about current, past, and future projects.
So come join NWRC celebrate the hard work and dedication American Whitewater puts into protecting and restoring America’s whitewater rivers and to enhancing opportunities to enjoy them safely.
