The Rogue River
The Rogue River is one of America’s treasured wilderness rivers. It was one of eight founding members of our Wild and Scenic River system due to its “remarkable features”. The Rogue is best known for its warm water, fun Class II/III rapids, outstanding scenery, and plentiful wildlife. It is the perfect river trip and the perfect place to enjoy Double Mountain Beer and Nectar Creek Honeywine.
You’ll spend your days running the Rogue’s mighty rapids, enjoying the gorgeous views, and spotting the plentiful wildlife. Each afternoon, you’ll arrive at your riverside campsite with plenty of time to relax, hike, read and sample Double Mountain beer and Nectar Creek mead. Each night we’ll pair each meal with beer and mead!
Double Mountain Brewery is favorite among Hood River locals and the Northwest Rafting Company staff. Their brewers create unfiltered and long-aged brews that deliver maximum character and flavor. Four main crafts are accompanied by over a dozen rotating seasonals and specialties. Casual beer fans love their lighter Kolsch and Vaporizer, while serious connoisseurs opt for the Hop Lava and IRA.
Nectar Creek Honeywine was created by two brothers with a contagious energy to redefine the world’s oldest fermented beverage as a new and artful libation. All of their mead is handcrafted in small batches using the best ingredients the Pacific Northwest has to offer, highlighting specific blends of Willamette Valley honey, water and yeast to produce a sensational pint.
